Cooking with Carson

Wednesdays are always a juggling act in our house with swim lessons, dinner and bath pretty much all happening at once...which leaves us multi tasking up the wazoo. So, last night out of efficiency of keeping Carson happy and trying to dinner at the same time, Carson helped.

With baby on hip, I stirred our cornbread muffins....and then I had some help! He kept reaching for the bowl or rather in attempt to get the goodness that was inside the bowl. I told Mikey, "Look he is helping. It's Carson's first cooking experience." And we thought well we better document this, so out came the camera...

And with a lightning speed, life got interesting....Carson grabbed the spoon! So you may be thinking just as we were...aww now he wants to stir....Wrong! Now it went from a cooking show to a food fight...and Mommy got the worst of it!

Mikey and I were dying with laughter and couldn't believe we actually caught it all on camera. It was one of the sweet family moments I will remember for a long time.  I guess we are either training a chef or a food fighting extraordinaire!
