New foods (that I can remember)- grapes, salmon, blackberries, black beans, oranges, turkey and oatmeal with yogurt and fruit
We did his 1st self feeding with a spoon with yogurt...messy but fun!
9 mos appt- weighed 20 1/2 lbs and was 28 inches long
Got in both top middle teeth (6/4 and 6/16)
1st fever (100.4) teething relating...Boo!
1st real owie...small black eye after falling into his push car...only to be the beginning I am sure!

Makes a clicking sound with his tongue and the roof of his mouth
Sticks his tongue out
Tucked his knees under him from laying on his belly
Walks along any object- couch, toys, wall, baby gates, etc and transfers between them
Got into sitting position from his tummy
1st big boy bath at home, the cute duck bath is officially retired after the little monkey kept trying to escape it
Sleeps through the night without any wakings consistently...the most amazing developmental milestone for mommy and daddy :)
Mema (Mikey's mom) was the 1st person other than us to put him to bed, then my parents did it later on that month
Turns pages in a book and is enjoying reading books so much
Offers items to "share" with you, often is a tease on his part and then he plays shy, super cute and we love it
Drops items to reach down and pick up from standing
Figuring out cause and effect toys...pushes buttons in order to get a response
Places things "in" and "out"
1st swim in our pool
1st Skype session with the Paynes and Whittakers
Waves consistently and does "so big" on request
Says "mama" not necessarily in relation to me, but still there and says "up" which sound more like "ahh" "puh"
1st Camping Trip- Lake Shasta on Memorial Weekend
Trip to SLO for my reunion, 1st trip to Avila Barn to pick berries and peaches and celebrating Mikey's 1st Father's Day
A few of his favorite things- anything involving standing and playing, walking with push toys, touch and feel books (Not My Bear), fake laughs (thinks it is hilarious), shape stackers and throwing balls
